Marching into Spring

The coldest season of the year, where we experienced three months of holiday bliss, binge watching our favorite Neflix series, cooking and devouring hardy stews and soups that kept our tummies full with nutrients, warmth, and love during “hibernation season”, is coming to an end. Next week Winter will makes her exit. Packing up her frigid temperatures, harsh winds and pale skies. In her departure, let’s not forget the teachings of self- preservation and lessons of restorative rest she bestowed upon us as we move into the harmonious season of Spring. On March 20th, we welcome the Spring Equinox, which marks the point in time when the sun sits directly over the Earth’s equator as it heads northward. We know this to be scientifically true, however, the Astrological New Year begins too, and the following day there’ll be a New Moon in Aries. This is a time for new beginnings and rebirths. Look around and witness how nature is slowly transforming and preparing to emerge into her beauty. In her awakening she takes her time to blossom. I find this process fascinating, and over the years, have learned to follow her lead. And, if you are ready to manifest goals/dreams for 2023, start by grounding yourself through meditation, yoga or taking a stroll in nature before the equinox begins. These practices help you become clear with your intentions/desires. This weekend, make time to read your writings or journal of 2022. Examine past intentions. Honor your wins and give grace to any shortcomings or low frequencies you may’ve experienced last year. Have faith during this equinox and prepare for your rebirth. Remember, the universe is always supporting our journeys with unconditional love, gifting us spiritual signs and messages. Therefore Beloved, stay on course. Treat this process as if you are starting a garden, whereas the intentions are seeds and the soil is the mind. To stay on track, keep your goals/intentions realistic. Say you want to manifest a new relationship or career, create more abundance in your life, purchase a new home, or obtain good health or wealth. Now picture yourself standing in your garden, and before sprinkling the seeds, ask yourself how will I accomplish my goals? The answers should be effortless, but if you’re not certain consider tending to the soil (mind) with one of the practices I mentioned before. With your intentions/goals established, you can begin to take action. Plant your seeds and for the remainder of this month, leading into April, choose a daily routine that supports your intentions. Bear in mind that nothing comes easy without doing the work. Be honest with your words and work diligently in your garden while enjoying this bright and bold season. ~Happy Spring!
